Dalton, GA ā Dalton Public Schools (DPS) is celebrating continued growth in graduation rates, with both Dalton High School and The Dalton Academy showing year-over-year improvement. The districtās overall graduation rate remains strong and continues to track closely with the stateās record-setting performance.
Dalton High School reported a 91.4% graduation rate in 2025, an increase from 88.4% in 2024, and above the state average of 87.2%.
The Dalton Academy improved to 76.1%, up from 71.3% in 2024, marking a 4.8-point gain in one year.
Districtwide, Dalton Public Schools achieved an 83.5% graduation rate, slightly higher than 83.4% in 2024.
Superintendent Dr. Steven Craft praised the results as a testament to the districtās focus on student achievement:

The Georgia Department of Education reported a statewide graduation rate of 87.2% in 2025, the highest in state history.
